Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (GB1702)

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (GB1702)

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a deep-dive training program that trains participants to a full Green Belt level in the combined methodology of Lean Six Sigma.

Participants receive complete and comprehensive exposure to the DMAIC methodology and associated tools to an extent that will enable them to lead small- to medium-scope improvement projects in their companies.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training is intended for those that will lead improvement projects, working with and supporting functional managers (process owners) throughout the organization. Green Belts are typically ~50% dedicated to improvement project work, and are often supported themselves by colleagues trained to the Yellow Belt level.

Mode of Delivery

NEW! Shorter classroom weeks!

This Green Belt session consists of two, four-day classroom sessions over a period of two months, totalling approximately 80 hours of classroom time. Outside of the classroom, students receive direct coaching on an in-company applied project. Following completion of the classroom component, students are expected to complete two more projects in order to achieve full certification.

Enrolment for each session is limited to ensure students can receive individual attention from our instructors. Outside of classroom training, the students receive direct coaching on their in-company applied project.

  • Blended Lean Six Sigma training, including both Lean AND Six Sigma concepts and applications
  • Takeaway materials, including course manuals, templates, and tools you can use in your facility
  • Trainers and coaches with decades of industry experience
  • Applied training, so you can see improvements even while you’re in the program
  • Build capacity within your company to improve & innovate

Our Green Belt materials are based on the methodology used by The George Group (acquired by Accenture in 2007). Michael George is generally credited with organizing the Lean Six Sigma methodology beginning with his 2002 book titled “Lean Six Sigma: Combining Six Sigma with Lean Speed”.

What previous participants say

“The stories, the presentations, and the teach-backs were the most valuable aspects of the Green Belt training. I love the electronic course materials that we’re given!”
Will Leddy, Flexxaire

“I would recommend Green Belt for anyone involved in Lean Six Sigma at work, and I would also recommend Yellow Belt for everyone I work with.”
Bobbie Lee Grant, Chandos Construction Ltd.
