Supply Chain Collaboration Program

Go Productivity Training

The Supply Chain Collaboration Program helps you develop stronger, more collaborative relationships with your key suppliers. Through workshops and follow up coaching, you and your supply chain partners will increase your productivity and competitiveness.

A well functioning supply chain is one of the most important assets your company can have: when your materials and products flow in and out on time, you decrease costs, improve productivity and increase profits.

The Supply Chain Collaboration Program helps you develop stronger, more collaborative relationships with your key suppliers. Through workshops and follow up coaching, you and your supply chain partners will increase your productivity and competitiveness.

About Our Workshop

The Supply Chain Collaboration Program consists of two parts: a one-day simulation workshop and a two-day “Best Productivity Principles” workshop. In order to accommodate busy schedules, there is time between the Best Productivity Principles Workshop and the Simulation Workshop.

During the simulation, you will work in small groups—ideally with your actual supply chain partners—to simulate a typical supply chain relationship. First you will work without communication and gradually you will add more collaboration and transparency so you can see the effects of what it means to be open and honest with your suppliers.

This exercise will allow you to create a value map of the entire supply chain that identifies bottlenecks, redundancies and wasted space, time and inventory.

During the “Best Productivity Principles” workshop, you will focus on how to develop relationships with your suppliers and avoid playing them off each other. Learning to anticipate roadblocks by being aware of potential obstacles, how to change them, and how you can deal with them, will give your business the competitive edge it needs. Our instructors will also bring you into a deeper focus on your business by working with you to develop a 120-day action plan for your organization.

Follow-up Coaching is an integral part of this program: it’s easy to get excited when you’re in the classroom but it isn’t always easy to follow through when you’re back in the office. Productivity Alberta’s expert coaches will help you implement your newly-minted best practices for productivity. Four hours of follow-up coaching are included in your registration. During this time, our coach will review your 120-day action plan, which you developed in the classroom, to ensure the plan is working, effective, and sustainable.
