With the speed at which technology is advancing, it isn’t a matter of if new emerging and exponential technologies are going to impact how Alberta business will be done in the future, but when and how!
Business leaders in Alberta recognize they have been slow to adopt and prepare for exponential technologies but are unsure what to do and where to go.
Many Alberta businesses and their leadership are woefully unprepared for the consequences of these transformative technologies, organizationally, operationally and strategically. Furthermore, awareness and understanding, by many small and medium businesses in Alberta, about how to incorporate these transformative technologies into supply chains isn’t anywhere close to where it needs to be.
Many of these changes are here now, more will be coming, even faster in the future. It’s integral for many businesses to compete and thrive to be willing and able to adapt to these significant and influential technological developments.
GO Productivity’s Executives in residence: Ken Chapman and Jeff Griffiths recently sat down to discuss the takeaways and lessons learned from a province wide series of workshops facilitated by GO Productivity on behalf of the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council regarding the state of the art of these emerging and exponential technologies in Alberta.
