Lean Six Sigma
Go Productivity Training
For companies looking to go further in improving productivity and build the capacity to manage their own efficiency challenges, the Lean Six Sigma method will provide the tools to do so.
About Lean Six Sigma
Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that combines the waste reduction principles of lean with the quality management concepts of Six Sigma.
Lean, popularized by Toyota, seeks to improve efficiency by improving workflow: no effort or time is wasted because the right things get to the right place at the right time. Developed by Motorola in 1986, Six Sigma is a set of techniques that reduces product defects through improved work processes.
Lean Six Sigma began with Michael George’s 2002 book, Lean Six Sigma: Combining Six Sigma with Lean Speed.
GO Productivity’s Lean Six Sigma training programs combine the best of both methodologies and gives you the tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and profits within your organization.
Why train with GO productivity?
There are countless training providers offering Lean Six Sigma courses, but not all programs are the same. It’s important to find the right training for you and your company.
About Our Training
GO Productivity offers Lean Six Sigma training at the White Belt, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt levels. We can also arrange for Master Black Belt training with a partner organization at preferred pricing.
Lean Six Sigma White Belt
Lean Six Sigma White Belt is a high-impact, interactive half-day workshop that familiarizes your employees with the principles behind productivity improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and gives you a base from which to move forward as you increase efficiency across every part of your operation. This session was formerly known as the Operational Productivity Improvement Workshop.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt takes place over three days. Have your team trained on Lean Six Sigma principles up to the Yellow Belt skills level to support your projects and initiatives within your organization.
Yellow Belt is a great place to start if you’re considering Green Belt or Black Belt training. Participants often find the course helps them become familiar with the vocabulary and concepts before diving into the more intensive levels.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt consists of two, one-week classroom sessions over a period of three months. Students will be expected to bring an in-company lean project that they will receive coaching on, and will need to complete two additional projects to achieve full certification. At the end of the certification process, students will have gained a working knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology and be able to implement its methods in their workplace.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a more in-depth immersion into the principles of Lean Six Sigma. The program consists of four, one-week classroom sessions over a period of four months. Again, students will be expected to bring an in-company lean project to complete in the classroom, as well as complete two additional projects to achieve full certification. At the end of the process, students will have a thorough understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, a functional understanding of statistical methods of project management and will be able to continue improving their company’s internal capacity without the need for outside help.
Note: Depending on the experience of the participant, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt may be taken without the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course as a prerequisite. Contact us for details.

Process Mapping & Root-Cause Analysis Training
The objective of this hands-on training program is to deliver training on key improvement tools in a manner that allows participants to gain experience through direct application of the tools on real-world processes and challenges. The workshop engages a cross-functional team within your organization and walks them through the application of tools that will enable them to identify key opportunities, benchmark current conditions, prioritize improvement projects, and apply root-cause analysis tools. Ultimately, the program facilitates your team in designing improvements to your most important challenges.
